The countryside has always played a powerful, emotional part in my life. The beautiful area I live in has a deep connection to the magic of childhood fantasy and play, as well as hopes and fears of past and future. The sometimes simple representations of Suffolk in my paintings keep me searching for the magic of my past and the hopes for the future.
I am primarily a landscape painter, exhibit, take commissions and teach. I come from a background in graphic design which has developed into sign writing/painting and murals. (Pub signs, house and business signs.)
Painting on a large scale has never daunted me, and I love mural work, enhancing interior and exterior spaces.
